“Tails Of Spirit Cats" Illustrated Book
Take a journey with the magical, Spirit Cat as it travels the world, exploring things regular cats cannot.
Tails Of Spirit Cats started is based on one of the cards that was developed for Wolfie’s Wish Grieving Cards. One of the cards suggest to pretend that your cat (or dog) is with you all the time, getting to do things it’s never done before like go to the grocery store, the nail salon, ride the subway.
"I had a lot of fun imagining my crazy cat in all those places and it always made me smile. I expanded on that and started making daily sketches while I was on vacation and that turned into this book! I hope it inspires others to smile through pain and maybe imagining their own “spirit cat” or “spirit dog” having adventures."
Erica Messer has been a professional harpist since 1999. When the pandemic upended her career, she turned to other creative outlets. After losing her cat to a tragic fall, she created Wolfie’s Wish, a company focusing on overcoming the loss of a pet with products and books. Wolfie’s Wish Pet Grieving Cards were released in December 2021 and "Tails Of Sprit Cats" is her first illustrated book.
